Bembi is a great indian restaurant located in Barcelona, 5 minutes walking from Plaza Catalunya and Passeig de Gracia. If you’re visiting the center of Barcelona, including Ramblas, Picasso Museum, Casa Batlló, La Pedrera, Gran Via or Plaza Catalunya.
We went to Tivoli Theatre to see “Campanes de Boda” from La Cubana, a classic theatre company from Catalonia. After that we walked a little bit and found this nice indian restaurant. It’s located in a non touristic street, so you’ll find peace being really closed to some of the main Barcelona atractions.
Share some naan (indian bread) and some great wine (recommendations carte) with your partner/s. The food is all good. If you’re lucky and have the chance of going more than once you can try different options (be careful with spicy dishes, they’re marked in the menu). If is a one time visit consider asking for chicken korma or combined dishes.
The place is relaxing, nice and clean. They have some big tables ideal for group meals.
